As World Refugee Day is approaching, we are inviting you to join us for a movie screening co-organized by Centre for Refugees, Health In Action, Hong Kong Red Cross and R.U.N. This year, we will be screening the 2014 film “The
Good Lie,” a heartfelt movie depicting the struggle of Sudanese refugees fleeing to a developed country. We are also happy to announce that Hong Kong Red Cross will offer a guided-tour to their Humanitarian Education Centre while WeAreHere and the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Foundation (HOCA) will be presenting a selection of photographs from the successful “Inside Out Project” of 2017.

The details of the event are as follows:

Time: 6:00pm-9:30pm (Movie starts at 7:30pm)
Venue: 7/F, Hong Kong Red Cross Headquarters, 19 Hoi Ting Road, West Kowloon
Activities: NGOs and photo exhibition, Guided-tour to Humanitarian Education Centre, Networking, Sharing & Movie screening
Language: English (with live interpretation in Chinese for the sharing session)
Fee: Free entry (Donation is welcomed and participants can send donation to the agency directly)
Note: Signature food, snacks & drink will be provided
